Etiquette

  • We want you to sit back, relax and disconnect from the most distracting item you have. Ambient music will play during your session, and timers made available when you are in the sauna.

  • We provide ice on site, at $4 for a 5.5kg bucket, so there is no need to bring your own ice.

  • Plastic and heat do not mix, especially in the sauna. Please respect our saunas. If you need water we can provide refreshments for you.

  • For hygienic purposes - always sit on a towel while using our saunas. If you forget yours you may hire one from our friendly office staff.

  • For hygienic purposes - you must shower before using the sauna and/or ice bath.

  • We suggest drinking half a litre of water an hour before using the sauna. This will prevent dehydration and fainting.

  • Unfortunately it is culturally unacceptable in the Cook Islands to be completely nude at a public facility so please be mindful and respectful. Our saunas will allow at a minimum bikinis females and underwear males but not full nudity.

  • To ensure the best outcomes of temperature levels, we suggest keeping the sauna door shut as often as possible.

  • We strongly suggest you seek medical advice and clearance before using our facilities.
